*White Soap/Toothpaste

During the 1890's ladies conscious of their white teeth often brushed their teeth with white soap. Can you imagine the taste that would leave in their mouthes??

*Just thought of something else.
If you see an outfit on someone else and you like what you see, go ahead and copy it. I recently saw a woman on TV and loved her outfit. I quickly copied down the particulars and then went shopping. Probably paid a fraction of what the outfit would have been originally.

Isn't it smarter to reach for a glass of juice rather than a glass of soda... if you really think about it? It will give you a boost of energy that you won't get from that glass of soda and the extra vitamins... a bonus.
Okay, I'm getting off my soap box lol...

It's time to get your feet ready for flip flops. I have just begun applying petroleum jelly to the soles of my feet before I hit the sheets. Yes, flip flop weather is a ways away for us. Actually, it's freezing here.

A lot of women think that pink is not an eye shadow color, but your might be surprised. A rose shade of shadow mixed with a little silver is especially effective.

Life can get so hectic, that we often forget to do all the little things that are so important... like the monthly breast examination. To make it easy, choose the same day each month... like your birthday number for example.
It might be scary, but not knowing that there is a lump there is even scarier.

*Scent Yourself to Sleep

Behavioral Psychologist Susan Schiffman has come up with a new way to lull yourself to sleep. It's a little bit conditioning, a little bit aromatherapy
and a little bit meditation all rolled into one.

She suggests that you choose your favorite scent to work with. Start by applying a little, and then close your eyes, while enjoying the scent. Now begin taking deep breaths and feel yourself slowly begin to relax. Doing this one or two times daily (over a ten day period) should bring about a relaxing state of mind whenever you experience this scent again.

I tried scenting my robe and... (more)

When you have been sick with the cold from hell all week, don't jump the gun just because you have a long weekend. I think that I did just that and I have a feeling that I'm going to pay for it.
My fever is back... so I'm going to do absolutely nothing for the rest of the day.
What I'm listening to... Diana Krall
What I'm Eating... cough drops
What I'm Wearing... just changed into a pair of scrubs. I need comfortable right about now!!
What time I'm going to go to bed... probably ninish... early I know but I haven't been sleeping very well all of last week. I have to get those hours back!!

Using a different bathroom

I'm sure that you didn't know where I was going to go with this, but I just had a very liquid lunch... not that kind... a bowl of soup, an apple and a can of soda water with lemon wedges. Well, now the obvious has happened and while I could use the bathroom on this floor, I won't! I'm thinking that climbing the stairs back to my desk has help with a little calorie burning.
At least it had better!!

What kind of pjs did your parents used to buy you?? Believe it or not, I always opened at least one flannel nightgown each Christmas when I was growing up. My daughter would disown me if I did that... but it might be worth it just to see the look on her face lol...
